Learn To Swim – Easyswim Swim School
Easyswim believes swimming is more than a skill - it's a life-saving confidence building journey that everyone should have.
We offer lessons at the following school pools - Plimmerton, Tawa, Khandallah, Johnsonville and Newtown. If you are interested in booking your child in for lessons you can book directly through the iClasspro app. Alternatively, contact the Customer Services Team at [email protected] or 234-7946 who would be happy to assist.
Holiday courses are also available in the second week of the school holidays at Johnsonville, Newtown and Plimmerton. These intensive block courses are a great way to kick start your swimmers journey or progress .......
Easyswim have also launched our 2026 goal to see all children in Wellington to able to swim 1000m. This is an ambitious target we know, but we think its important to set high standards for our communities children and we encourage swimmers to take on the challenge.
1000m is 70 lengths of our smaller school pools and would appropriate for current ESS swimmers in Hammerheads and up. We also welcome kids from the wider community to come and have give it a go - for more detailed information contact our Customer services Team.
We are also holding a free Water Safety class on the 14th July at Tawa School Pool. All bookings can be made through the team at [email protected] or 234-7946.

New Zealand Traveller Declaration
Going overseas for the school holidays? Everyone travelling into New Zealand must complete a New Zealand Traveller Declaration, including returning New Zealand passport holders.
Its FREE and you can do it on the online form or on the NZTD app.
If you’re travelling as a family or group and completing multiple declarations, the NZTD app allows you to copy your travel details into another declaration, making it easier to complete multiple declarations for the same journey. The submitted declarations are then all easy to see within the app.
The New Zealand Traveller Declaration collects travel, customs, immigration and biosecurity information and aims to improve the safety and security of New Zealand. It replaces the paper card you used to fill out on the plane.
To make your arrival easier, do your digital declaration before your flight back to New Zealand.
