KELLY SPORTS NETBALL HOLIDAY PROGRAMME JULY 2025 – RAROA NORMAL INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL, JOHNSONVILLE
WEEK 1 – TUES, WEDS, THURS, 9AM-12PM
Come along and improve your technique, knowledge and skills with our awesome Kelly Sports Coaches!
We will focus on the core skills of Passing, Catching, Teamwork, Defending & Shooting, but MOST importantly having as much FUN as possible!
There will be 2 groups 
Years 1-4 - Aimed for Beginners, these sessions work on improving the basic netball skills and to help start to develop technical and tactical knowledge in accordance with the Future Ferns Programme.  
Children will work towards the following skills: Passing, Shooting, Spatial Awareness and Defensive Skills.
 Years 5-8 - These sessions will work on sharpening the basic skills and the children will start to develop a better understanding of the 7-aside game and the different positional roles.
We will use fun drills and games to develop and challenge young players focusing on the key skill areas for their level of development while also have fun!!

A perfect programme for "Beginner's" and those just wanting to have a bunch of fun.

Easyswim Swim School – LEARN TO SWIM
Easyswim runs lessons for babies through to adults out of six school pools around Wellington. Locations include Plimmerton, Tawa, Johnsonville, Rewa Rewa, Khandallah and Newtown School Pools. Birthday Party bookings are also available.

Wellington Hockey is pleased to announce that registrations are now open for our 2025 In-Season Development Programmes (ISDP) for both U13 (Year 7–8) and U15 (Year 9+) players.
 
We would greatly appreciate it if you could share the details below with your school or club community. These programmes are fantastic opportunities for students to build their hockey skills, develop confidence, and enjoy the game in a fun and supportive environment.
 
Attached is some promotional material that has most of this information included. Please feel free to post, share or advertise the programme with this media.
 
About the Programme:
 
The ISDP offers a structured pathway for young players to:

  • Develop core hockey skills and game understanding
  • Build confidence and a love for the game
  • Participate in regular training with expert coaches
  • Prepare for end-of-season regional festivals/tournaments
 
Programmes are split into U13 and U15 age brackets to ensure players train in age-appropriate, engaging environments.
