Matsuri is our main fundraising event that brings together our community from Crofton Downs and beyond.

Matsuri is Japanese for 'festival' and reflects CDPS’s unique cultural and educational links with Wellington’s Japanese community.  There is something for everyone at Matsuri – a variety of hot food, games, live entertainment, crafts, toys, books, cakes and coffee, a raffle and more.

Keep watching this page for updates on what to expect on the day, how you can get involved and what we need.
VOLUNTEER at Matsuri
We can’t run Matsuri without the help of our school community, so we’re looking for at least one volunteer per family to help us with stalls and other activities.

Please enter your details on this form and tick the options that suit your availability.

PLANTS

The best seeds to plant are things for the winter garden such as Beetroot, bok choi, broccoli, carrot, cabbage, cauliflower, kale, leek, lettuce, mesclun, parsley, parsnip, radish, rhubarb, rocket, silverbeet, spinach, spring onions.

If you have a plant that grows like a weed please take some cuttings now so they will be well rooted and healthy come Matsuri time. House plants are popular as are natives and outdoor plants.
